Stock Aerial Photography from Bryce & Zions National Parks

We have had quite a bit of snow lately, even in the usually warmer southern part of the state. I have wanted to get some stock photography of Bryce Canyon and Zions National Park for  a while now, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. Once we shoveled all the snow away from the front of our hanger, we took off for southern Utah. Bryce Canyon was first on our list, and our timing was perfect for the lighting:

Bryce Canyon National Park is beautiful any time of the year, but during the winter there are amazing contrasts in color between the white snow and the orange-red colored sandstone. For more images, check out our stock photography online catalog here.

Next, after a brief stop at Bryce Canyon airport, we flew to Zions National Park. It is spectacular from the air. More flights will need to be dedicated to this area. Here are a few samples:

On our way back to the home base, we flew along the edge of the mountains between Zions and Cedar City, and then detoured over Little Sahara Sand Dunes State Park. It was a beautiful day with excellent flying conditions, although a little cold with the window open!
